Creating A Business Plan

  1. Students will be in groups of 3 or 4 and will be given the opportunity to create their business name, product or service and company description.
  2. Students will decide on executive role that each member will play. (CEO, Vice-President, Dept. Manager and Sales Manager)                                                                                                                                                         
  3. Once product or service and company description has been decided upon, students will then visit www.sba.gov ,to explore the different parts of the business plan.
  4. Click on Starting and Managing
  5. Click on Create Your Business Plan
  6. Review each section of business
  7. Compose a brief description of each section, pointing out two important facts for each section of the business plan using the Components Document.
  8. Students can now perform additional research using the resources provided or additional outside resource to complete their actual business plan template.
