What you will have to do.

  • First- Bring supplies needed: one poster board per group, crayons, colored pencils, markers, scissors, and glue. Have them ready to be used.
  • Second- Get together with your assigned partner.
  • Third- Grab a computer.
  • Fourth- Use the PowerPoint link, at the bottom, and complete the PowerPoint. Take turns completing the task and it is fine if you help one another.
  • Fifth- After completing the PowerPoint, on a sheet of paper, come up with your own examples of synonyms, antonyms, and homonyms. Once you have it completed bring it to me, the teacher, to take a look at it. After I have checked your paper and gave you the go you are ready to start on your poster.
  • Sixth-  Grab your poster board, make three columns and label each column as either synonyms, antonyms, or homonyms, write down your examples in the column it belongs in, add drawn pictures or provide printed pictures from the computer, if possible, to illustrate the different types of synonyms, antonyms, and homonyms, and lastly decorate. (Remember to take turns and to have an equal opportunity of input by each member of the group.)
  • Seventh- Write your names and date on the back of the poster board and turn it in.
  • Eighth- Gather everything together and put it up, close all tabs and log out of your computer.
  • Ninth- Once everything is put away and your place is clean go to your desk, take a seat, and wait for further instruction.
  • Finally you are done!
