Germ Busters

1. Read the story, Germs! Germs! Germs! by Bobbi Katz with your class.

2. Your teacher will assign you a Germ Busters partner to work with.

3. Get a Detective Notebook from your teacher. Write down 10 places where

you think germs may be hiding in your classroom.

4. Research germs and play some fun games. Record your answers for each

question in your Detective Notebook as you visit each site.

5. What did you learn about germs? Brainstorm together with your class on a

concept map. Your teacher will give you a concept map.

6. Decide with your partner how you will teach others about germs. What will

you do?

Make a poster

If you want to perform a skit and need more friends to help, ask your

teacher if there is another group that would like to work with you.

7. Look at the Rubric. This will show you how you will be graded on your project.

8. Go Germ Busters! You and your partner will teach your classmates about
