BECOME A EUROPEAN MULTICULTURAL AGENT!

Process

Follow the next steps to perform your virtual country visits.

Step 1: First you will be assigned to work in groups of 4 students.


Step 2: Gather with your assigned group and choose from the following roles:

a) Cultural travel agent(s): researches and writes about the culture of the country (historical monuments, sight-seeing, transportation)

b) Geographical travel agent (s): researches and writes about the country's map, lakes, mountain and beach resorts

c) Economist travel agent(s): researches and writes about  the country's monetary system, trade, and jobs

d) Politician/Educator travel agent(s): researches and writes about the country's flag, political and educational system

More categories can also be added in your your research project (see category other in notes attachment).


Step 3:
 Collect information from your TEXTBOOK AND from the following recommended WEB RESOURCES.

Tip 1: While searching for useful information you can use the Notes Attachment to keep useful notes to be included in your multimedia project.

Tip 2: You should also open a new folder on your desktop for saving pictures or other files you deem useful to include in your final project.
Note: Use images, audio, and/or video files in your multimedia presentation.


Step 4: After you collect the information gathered and organize it using the Notes Attachment, share your information with your group for approval. Discuss and evaluate the information with your peers and decide on what to include and what to omit.

Step 5: Collaborate with your group to prepare and present:
1) a multimedia presentation (using PowerPoint) and 
2) a tourist brochure (using Publisher)
to display the infromation you gathered about your study-country.

Step 6: Share your results with the whole classroom. Vote for the best multimedia presentation and tourist pamphlet! Upload your products on the school's Web site with the help of your teaher.Other pupils would love to see what you 've been doing for the last month!!!

Step 7: Share your end products, experiences, and knowledge gained with your parents, brothers, and sisters and ask for their feedback!
