Ah Jr Astronauts...Let's get started!!

Now that you are all buckled in and safely in your groups it's time to take off.  Each group has a worksheet that will guide you along your way. 

Before you head to your website your group must watch the video on this site: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_RAEESmsrs 

Each group must go to the website listed on your worksheet and use the information you find to answer the questions.

Moon Eperts: Use http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/astronomy/moon/  this website will help you to answer the questions on your "Moon Expert" hand out.

Sun Experts: Use http://nineplanets.org/sol.html  this website will help you to answer the questions on your "Sun Expert" hand out.

Planet Experts: Use http://starchild.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/StarChild/solar_system_level1/planets.html this website will help you to answer the questions on your "Planet Expert" hand out.

Astrounat Experts: One group will go to http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/station/expeditions/expedition18/journal_sandra_magnus_5.html and the other group will go to http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/station/expeditions/expedition14/journal_lopez-alegria_4.html  These websites will help you learn about the life a astronauts.

Now that your research is complete, you must take your findings and organize them in a way that best suits your group.  Your options include but are not limited to (create a power point presentaion, design a poster or a brochure, put on a mini play)  If your group would like to show your work in a different way please see me!
