Choose 1 of the following options
Option 1
Do you have what it takes to create a nonprofit group? Check out what some amazing kids did.
1. Click on the link "Nonprofits created by kids." Read about kids who created their own nonprofits.
2. Go to your google drive account. Answer the question on a document: If you could create a nonprofit group what would it be called? What would be its purpose? How would it work? Why would you choose that? Send it to my email.

Option 2
Now let's honor a good citizen in our community!
1. Go to your google drive account. Open a new document. Title it "A Good Citizen". Write a paragraph about a good citizen that you know of and how he or she contributes to to the community you live in. This could be someone that you personally know (ex: parent, teacher, friend) or someone that you do not know (ex: a local mayor, firefighter, doctor).  Be sure to refer back to the information you learned to justify why he or she is a good citizen.
2. Revise and Edit your paragraph. Send it to my email.

Option 3
Let's take a look at kid citizens around the world.
1. Click on the Global Kids Connect link. Read the Classroom Connections section.
2. Click on and compare the 2 class projects, one from Afghanistan and one from the United States.
3. Make a Venn Diagram comparing their projects.
4. Under your diagram write a few sentences about what you noticed and what it makes you think.
