Commander Mead

Hello detective. I am Commander Mead and I have assigned you to an important investigative task. I have been a bit suspicious of the papers under my direction, I do not believe they have been recycled and need you to do some background investigation on them. You see, I expect the best quality, most cost efficient, and environmentally friendly papers to be a part of my task force. I've grown weary of these bright white pages with their flashy pink and blue lines and I'd like you to get to the bottom of this.
 
The question is this:  How important is it to recycle paper, and should I, Commander Mead be concerned about the paper my company is producing?
