On 23rd April, coinciding with the date of Shakespeare's and Cervantes' death and St. George's Day, International Book Day is celebrated. In Catalonia, men traditionaly gave a rose to their beloved, who gave them a book in return. St. George is the patron saint of both Catalonia and England.
This activity aims to integrate mathematic skills with others worked on during these webquests, using a Caesar Cipher. Pupils decipher a text which describes the things both writers had in common.
