Human Trafficking: We Are Not For Sale.

This Website describes human trafficking, a human rights violation that mostly attacks women and children. 27 million people are victims of modern day slavery across the globe. These victims are involved by being tricked, lured, or stolen into humn trafficking. Human trafficking violates Article 4, which states that "No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms." Human trafficking also violates Article 5, which states that "No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment." An estimated 17,500 people of foreign descent are trafficked annualy in the United States. Goverments around the world are now beginning to address this topic.
