Can you imagine living in a country where food is scarce and the children living there have limited access to the foods that give them a variety of nutrients needed their growth and development?

How would you be able cope living in this situation?

How would this problem affect your studies?

Do you have an idea of what your diet would be like?

What are some of the foods you think you would have to eat?

Would you get sick easily?

Do you think your body would have the required amount of energy needed to participate in extra curriculum activities without getting tired easily?


Try to imagine that your Primary School is funding an Overseas programme to a foreign country to supply food to children who have a scarcity of Food. The aim of your school is to feed as much hungry children in that country as they can with healthy nutritional foods. You want to prove to  your Teacher and your Principal that you are competent and that you are the best in your class, so they should choose you.  You have to gather as much information as you can to show case how much knowledge you have on Nutrition needed to win them over. You are aware of the types of foods needed to promote healthy eating, how they aid in a child's development, diseases that a created by not practicing good eating habits and steps you can take to ensure that you can help to spread awareness about the consequences of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. What are the steps that you would take to gather all your information?
