Have you ever scraped your knee and wondered how it healed to be good as new? The answer is a process called Mitosis, or cell division. As soon as a cut or scrape occurs, the blood clots and the cells begin dividing to create more and more cells to patch the injury. Mitosis involves four main phases: prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase, and a resting phase known as interphase. During this WebQuest, we will explore the process of Mitosis by focusing one mitotic phases.
