Science Safety

With this WebQuest, you will be a researcher who has the opportunity to investigate all of the safety practices necessary for managing a science classroom/laboratory.  You can explore case studies of negligence while investigating common safety practices for electricity, emergency situations, and biological materials.  You will be able to view resources to develop your own safety plan to guide and manage your classroom.  You will also look into the care and use of living things and the different restrictions imposed on working with organisms.  Quizzes and additional resource links have been provided on the "Activities" page.  Science safety is important to teachers and students alike, so investigate this WebQuest to the fullest to help to make all of your students into better (and safer) researchers!
