Introduction
Safety signs or signals inform us about rules that help keep us safe. Safety signs are everywhere and the help let us know what to do or where to go. They are in our classroom, at school, on the bus, in the neighborhood, at stores, and even in restaurants. Look around the classroom for about one minute and see if you notice any safety signs .
Scenario and Problem:
For example:
- Cars are speeding through intersections of the road, all at the same time!
- A person is riding their bike on the freeway.
- Cars are driving on sidewalks and on the side of the road where people ride bicycles.
- People are standing on the corner and do not know when they can cross the street
- A person slipped on a wet floor
- A man keeps putting coins in a machine for a soda. He keeps losing his money and is now losing his mind!
- There are problems everywhere! HELP!
