- The Situation
Joey's father has been hired to build a wheelchair ramp over the existing steps for their neighbor. The set of steps is 12 feet long and 5 feet high. Joey's father knows that you both have been studying about triangles in PreAlgebra and has asked for your help. He knows that Joey is not the best math student, so he is depending on you! This ramp is important so that their neighbor, Ms. Smith will be able to go into her house after leaving the hospital.Can you make sure the ramp is long enough?
