In this course, we learn about investment and financing decisions of profit-maximizing corporatemanagers. However, what we learn can be applied to non-profit organizations and your own finan-cial decisions. Main topics include the financial goals of a firm, financial mathematics, financialstatement analysis, risk and return (portfolio theory and asset pricing models), financial asset val-uation (stocks, bonds, options), capital budgeting, and the cost of capital, capital structure, anddividend policy.
