A tense is a form taken by a verb to show the time of an action.
 there are three main of tenses:

1.PRESENT TENSE: things that are true  when the word are spoken or written.


a: simple present tense

         S+V1 (-S/-ES)

         ex= i go to school everyday

b: present continous tense
        
            S+AM/IS/ARE+Ving

              ex=we are studying english in the class right know.

c: present perfect tense

                S+ HAVE/HAS+V3

                  ex=she has got her lunch  
         
d: present perfect continous tense
      
                    S+HAVE/HAS+BEEN+Ving

                     ex=  i have been staying here for 2 month


2. PAS TENSE: thing that were true  before the words were spoken or written.

a: simple pas tense
       
        {S+V2}

      ex= fita played tennis last week

b: past continous tense

          S+WAS/WERE+Ving

            ex= we were playing football at this time last monday

c; past perfect tense

          S+HAD+V3

           ex= she had not slept when i came last night

d: past perfect continous tense.

             S+HAD+ BEEN +Ving

              ex= she had been staying here for 2 years, when my family moved here







3:FUTURE TENSE:  thing that will or might  be true after the words are spoken or written.

a: simple future tense

           S+WILL/WILL+V bi

            ex= i will go to bali tomorrow

b: future continous tense

             S+WILL/SHALL+Be+Ving

              ex= tomorrow, i will be playing soccer with my friend at 7pm

c: future perfect tense

               S+WILL/SHALL+HAVE+V3

                ex= i will have finished my work tomorrow night


d: future perfect continous tense.

                 S+WILL/SHALL+HAVE+BEEN+Ving

                  ex= we will have been living here for 2 years by the end of the years
