Cyberbullying

        Cyberbullying continues to be a world wide issue due to the impact that technology has on our lives. Cyberbullying takes bullying to a new level because you do not need to know the victim, the bully could have a false identity, and confrontation can be avoided because of the use of technology. The main objectives of this WebQuest is to gain more knowledge of what cyberbullying is, the effects that cyberbullying has on the victims, the statistics behind cyberbullying, examples of cyberbullying in real life, how to prevent it in students� lives, and what type of assistance there is for those who are cyberbullied. Through the exploration of a variety of websites, videos, and interactive web resources the students will be gaining an understanding of these objectives, so they can collaborate to create a poster for the school to inform others of this issue. They will be using the knowledge that they have found in order to create this informative poster. It is through the informative poster that the students throughout the school will learn more about cyberbullying and the impact it can have!
