Planning your route, setting a course, and being able to find your way are important to college success.  These are the same basic principles that ancient Polynesians used to find their way from one point to another.  You will explore how Hawaiians used their knowledge of the ocean and the stars as a compass to navigate the open seas.  You will also learn about the Star Compass at Kapi'olani Community College and how it can be used to navigate through your education.
