A dog is an animal that has four legs, sharp teeth, two ears, a tail and a jaw. There are more than 150 different types of dogs, divided into 8 classes.There are sporting, hound, working, herding, non sporting, terrier-toy etc. Dogs can vary in size from 36 inches which is 150 Ibs.

A poem about a dog called Ben
BEN
1. I am a canine.
They say my name is Ben.
I get lonely all the time,
because I have no friends.
2. I wag my tail from side to side,
and jumps up and down.
Because I know it's meal time,
I always act like a clown.
3. I am small and furry,
brown, black and white.
At times I tend to worry,
of doing wrong not right.
4. Being a dog is too hard.
as sometimes I'm left alone.
To do my chores around the yard,
with help or on my own.
