Independence Day!

Today you and your classmates will be learning about Independence Day! You will research the national holiday and discover and explain why it is such an important date in history. You will explain the important places, people, and the overall feelings towards the holiday. I will be splitting you up into groups of 5.  An in class laptop will be provided to each of you so you can do the research necessary. You will be creating a powerpoint and presenting it to the class. You will be graded based on the overall presentation and the overall group effort.
