A solid is a 3-dimensional shape. It can be either regular or irregular.Our environment consist of various geometric solids. In our classroom we can identify at least three types of geometric solids, example a book (cuboid), door (cuboid) or the light bulb (cylindrical).

As you learn more about the topic, you will explore the different ways you can use solids more effectively in your environment.
