Poetry is a lot of things to a lot of people. Homer's epic,The Odyssey, described the wanderings of the adventurer,  has been called the greatest story ever told. The Poems of the romantic period including Goethe's Faust(1808),Coleridge's "Kubla Khan" and John Keats' "Ode on a GrecianUrn" gave us a lot to understand the life and peoples feelings better.

Poetry is a vital language. Poetry relies on the writer's feelings, history and perceptions. Poetry writing is relevant and interesting, because it draws on the senses and the senses give deep access to memories and feelings.

Poetry is a special part of the literature of any country.
