Calculating Wavelength for RF Energy

Introduction

Have you ever been standing in the ocean and felt, as a wave passed by, the water rise to a point on your body and lower to another point and back again? Did you know that from the high point to the next high point in the wave as it passed was one wavelength? Yep...it's how long the wave is. Actually, the cool thing is that wavelength or λ is measured not just between a high point to another high point, but to any given point in a wave to that same point in the next wave is one wavelength.
