Internet Plagiarism

New teachers beware:  The dark age of plagiarism is upon us.  You need to be aware of what it is and how to combat it.  It can affect the academic future of our students! Being a high school English teacher can be very challenging.  Reading and grading 150 essays can be daunting for most of us.  Sometimes we find ourselves reading Johnny's essay and thinking, "Wow.  Johnny sure sounds like his writing ability has improved to that of a Ph.D in Comparative Literature."  The thought of all the work it'll be to prove it-  sometimes, you just don't have the time.  Until now.  Put your English teacher hat down for a minute.  You are now a plagiarism detective.  You will set out to prove once and for all that Johnny is a thief; and his future depends upon it!
