Introduction

Throughout this webquest you will learn what a philsophy is, what makes up a philosophy, and why having a philsophy is important.  You will be looking at various Eastern philosophies originating in China, India and the Middle East. You will see that many of these philosophies were created to deal with certain problems in society at that time. At the end of this webquest, you will become a philosopher yourself by creating your own original philosophy which deals with issues that you believe our current society has.
