The project will be graded on the students ability to demonstrate what they have learned.  That they are able to meet the educational expectations of this assignment.  There are 4 opportunities for students to be assessed.  First students will be graded on the treasure hunt activity.  Second students will be graded on their ability summarize what they learned in a short summary of the main points of this lesson.  Third students will write short essay about ideas that they have to create an artwork of their own using recycled and re-purposed items.  The final part is the homework assignment where students will create an artwork of their own using recycled and re-purposed household items.g0

Has achieved a score of 70-79% Students has meet the goal of a 5 sentence summary of the topic with some errors in grammar and spelling. Has achieved a score of 69 % or less. Summary is incomplete and has many errors.
Essay Has achieved a score of 90% of greater. Students has meet the goal of a 3 paragraph essay of the topic with no errors in grammar and spelling. Homework Has achieved a score of 90% of greater by creating a fully actualized art work that showed mastery of the topic. Has achieved a score of 80-89% Student complete all goals of the assignment, but had some room for improvement Has achieved a score of 70-79% student completed much of what was required in the homework but feel short on some of the goals. Has achieved a score of 69 % or less students did not fully complete the assignment or did not follow the instructions.
