You will realize that the Research Project carries majority of the marks (50%). It has two parts: Content/Portfolio and Oral Presentation of Model.

For the Content make sure the names of all group members that has participated are included. Each member is to contribute to both sections.

The presentation of the model is where you present your model of a toy car to the panel explaining how relevant a knowledge of Impulse and Momentum is to the manufacturing of cars community.

This will be due in the next two weeks.

 INDIVIDUAL ASSESSMENT

1. Questions

You should have completed this before startied working on the Research Project.

2. 2 Car Collision Simulation

You will explore how the momentum of a two car collision system is conserved when you change the mass and the velocity of the cars.

Download the file '2 Car Collision Simulation - Worksheet'

Use the web link '2 Car Collision Simulation' to answer the questions in the worksheet

Be sure to be as detailed as possible in your responses.

This will form 20% of your final grade.

3. Quiz

You will be placed in groups. Then attempt the quiz that corresponds with the group to which you belong. Please note this is an individual assessment so you are not expected to correspond.
