Shapes and Colors of Our Lives

Upon completion of finding the geometric shapes in the pictures you printed out, please get together with your math

buddy and check each other's work to see if you have similar answers and found the same shapes or additional shapes.

Next, I would like the two of you to sit down together and think about some items in our daily lives that are the shapes

of squares, circles, triangles, rectangles, hexagons, cubes, cones, cylinders or spheres. Make a list together and the

pair of math buddies with the largest number of items from our daily lives with geometric shapes will be the winners of

today's Prize for Shape Explorers!!! A prize will be awarded each winning buddy!!!
