You will now have to write a persuasive essay deciding whether dropping the atomic bombs was a good decision or not. In this essay, you will need an introductory paragraph. This should include a hook and your thesis statement. You will also need three body paragraphs. These body paragraphs will include your supporting details and citations. And finally, you will need a concluding paragraph. This paragraph restates your thesis statement and ends your essay.

Supporting Details The essay has three clear paragraphs that support the opinion stated in the thesis statement in the introductory paragraph. Each paragraph begins with a topic sentence that supports the thesis. In each paragraph, clear evidence is used and cited. The evidence is clearly explained in a way that supports the opinion stated in the topic sentence. The writer links main points with effective transitions. The essay has at least two body paragraphs that support the opinion stated in the introductory paragraph. Both paragraphs support the position of the writer and have cited evidence. Some transitions are used to link major sections of the essay and create coherence. The essay demonstrates an as irrelevant details. Paragraphs have some evidence of a claim or position. Has irrelevant details and few effective transitions. The essay does not have any organization. Paragraphs do not have any evidence. The sentences are repetitive. No relevant information is included and there are no transitions.
