The success of the student requires the ability to know how to create a website with appropriate content and usability. The student must know how to test the website using a web design program such as Microsoft Web Expression program prior to publishing it on the Internet. The student must know how to obtain a website name, URL, and appropriate IP address to ensure the website is properly displayed, accessible, and found. The creation scenario will teach the student:

  1. How the Internet uses Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP) to display information.
  2. How the Internet Protocol (IP) can be either non routable or routable in order for the website to be displayed on the Internet.
  3. Using Internet resources.
