Healthy Meals for a Day

You will be evaluated on many different items during this webquest!  Your teacher will be looking to see how well your group works together.  Whether everyone participated equally in the group part of the assignment.  You will be graded on the accuracy of your research guide.  You will receive points on the recipes you choose:  is it healthy, does the meal include each portion from the my plate guide and is it something you will actually eat?

You will also receive points on the presentation of the daily menu.  For third grade you will get points based on the powerpoint presentation:  do you have the recipes on your slide, does it contain pictures, have you made it visually appealing with colors, fonts, animations, and transitions?

Forth grade you will get points based on your use of publisher.  Do you have at least three meals with recipes and pictures?  Have you used a template that is visually appealing?  You will also need to print your brochures and have them line up correctly.

You will be given plenty of time to complete this assignment so take that time and use it wisely.  If you have questions please ask your teacher before turning in your final project.   If you are having a problem with someone in your group try to work it out among yourselves before bringing it to the teacher. 

You will each recieve a copy of the rubric upon completion of the webquest.  Be sure to look it over so you understand what your grade is.
