As part of your Evaluation you are expected to write 200 - 250 words on why Mary Magdalene's meeting to the Risen Jesus, is an important event in our Religious belief and how it can be related to your life. This is to be done individually. Below are some key questions to help you develop your essay.
- What sort of mood do you think Mary Magdalene was in after meeting the Risen Jesus?
- How do you think people knew what sort of mood she was in?
- Did Mary Magdalene expect to meet Jesus? Why not?
- Who sent Jesus?
- What did Jesus come to show us?
- Can you think of a time or a story when Jesus showed us what his Father's love was like?
- Did the people who wanted Jesus killed like the way that he spoke about God?
- Did they feel they were right to have Jesus killed?
- Jesus died on Good Friday and then he was seen alive in a new way on Easter Sunday morning: who made that happen?
- Did anything like this ever happen before or since?
- Why do you think God wanted the Risen Jesus to be seen again by his friends?
- In what ways do you think that Jesus was the same as he was before Good Friday? In what ways was he not?
