When designing totem pole on paper, show detail, include at least 3 animals and use lots of color, also include explanations on why you included each aspect of your design
When executing your totem pole design, take your time and do not make it look sloppy, try to make the actual totem pole match your design on paper as closely as possible
When presenting your finished totem pole to the class explain each aspect of your design to your classmates and talk about the significance each item on the pole has to you, also tie in facts you learned in the online content and relate those to your totem pole
