The Accounting Cycle

Once the students have completed this activity, they will have completed the accounting cycle.  They will have a basic understanding of the processes that financial accountants go through in order to provide the financial statements that are useful to investors and creditors. 

Something that should be taken into consideration is whether or not the business will be able to borrow money from a creditor based on its financial statements or whether someone will invest into the business.
