Life Science: Compare and Contrast Plant and Animal Life

In conclusion, by the end of this lesson students will understand the difference between different plant and animals in the California region. Students will also understand the different defense system, habitat. food source, and special characteristics their plant or animal may have to survive. Students can use their presentation to teach their peers the different types of animals and plants in the California region.  Students can further their knowledge on plants and animals alike and difference by researching in depth for sell structure and other characteristics.  At the end of this lesson the teacher will use the grading rubric based on their research, journals, and presentation.

2. Students can compare and contrast their life to their favorite animal.
