In order for any specie to survive it must be able to reproduce. Sexual reproduction involves the production of fertile or viable gametes that fuse during the process of fertilization. The female reproductive system is particularly important as it not only produces gametes but is made carry the feotus until it is old enough to enter the world. The parents are then responsible for providing the child with a home, food, clothes, emotional support and all the other requirements of a child until the child become an adult old enough to fend for him/herself.  That adult will then produce more offspring before he/she dies.Therein the process continues.
