There are three degree of comparison of Adjectives: Positive, Comparative, and Superlative. These degrees of comparison of adjective help us to specifically describe and compare one, two or more nouns. The positive form of regular and irregular adjectives are in their simplest form and denotes that there is no comparison. However, regular and irregular adjectives form its comparative and superlative form in different way.

Without Adjectives and the degrees of comparison, it would be immensely difficult for us to describe everything and even express ourselves. Therefore, we should be aware of the proper usage of adjective,  its forms and degrees of comparison. As Cliffon Faul Fadiman said, "The adjective is the banana peel of the parts of speech."
