As you complete your WebQuest it is my hope that you have developed an appreciation and understanding of the importance of the hand plane. This will help you as we continue to learn about hand tools that are available for your use as a carpenter.

Knowledge of hand tools in general give you a solid foundation upon which you will build your knowledge of their contemporary counterparts, the power tools you use everyday on the jobsite.
