This WebQuest has shown you how to construct irregular figures out of regular figures.  You now know that in order to calculate the areas of irregular figures, you can separate the irregular figures into regular figures, calculate the areas, and then add all of the areas up to get the area of the irregular figure.  You also discovered how irregular figures are used in real world applications by designing your own swimming pool.
