Ordinary People, Ordinary Places: The Civil Rights Movement

 

Do you plan to register to vote? Why do the other students not plan to register? Were you influenced by the fact that during the Civil Rights Movement, people risked their lives to register and to help others register.

 

"Ordinary people can change the world" reflects the fact that the struggle for civil rights was a mass movement made up of thousands of individuals who each committed themselves to the cause.
