Beyond the Holocaust

I truly hope that you have enjoyed this webquest and have learned a lot about genocide. I hope that your mind has broadened when it comes to genocide and is no longer limited to the Holocaust. Genocide is a very real and happening atrocity today and one that we really should pay closer attention to and perhaps even strive to bring about change as Angelina Jolie is doing. I am very proud of you for making it through this emotional material and am looking forward to seeing your stem connections and reading the letter you have written for me. This activity was just the beginning of the interesting unit we are about to dive into! This is Holocaust Remembrance and Genocide Awareness week and we will do our best by learning about the Holocaust as a whole and honoring those who have fallen victim to genocide.
