Conclusion

20120721111258eJyza.jpg

After the completion of this WebQuest, you will have a better understanding of the steps and terminology of the scientific method, you have applied a "real-life" problem to the content material in order to see a connection between classroom learning and the application of that knowledge, and you have worked as a team in order to complete a problem.

Additional Learning Opportunity:

1. As a scientist, you must share your experimental results with the scientific community.  Write an article or scientific report to discuss your experiment and results.  This is a good opportunity to take your learning to the next step, practice your writing skills and build a writing portfolio to be used for college admission.

2.  Is there a product or question you have always been curious about, 'Is it really the sun the makes people sneeze when they come out of a builidng?', 'Does drinking water fast make your hiccups go away?'.  Design an experiment to  test your question or product.
