Parenting 101
Teacher Page
This lesson was developed for Child Development or Parenting classes at the high school level. At least 5 -7class periods should be allotted for completion. Teachers may have to adjust the times depending on computers available and speed of students.
If computers are not available, teacher could have copies of printed resources for students to use. Students could also interview new parents on each topic to get real world advice.
Some parts of this webquest may need to be modified for special needs students. The teacher could choose to shorten the amount of requirements in each section or ask students to only choose one topic to research.

CA 3. reading and evaluating nonfiction works and material (such as biographies, newspapers, technical manuals)

Goal 4.6. identify tasks that require a coordinated effort and work with others to complete those tasks
Goal 4.7. identify and apply practices that preserve and enhance the safety and health of self and others
