I. LESSON OBJECTIVES
a. Cognitive Objective- The student will be able to identify the signs and symptoms of eating disorders and where to get help if needed by the conclusion of this lesson.
b. Affective Objective- The student will be able to share their feelings about eating disorders by the conclusion of the group work.
c. Psychomotor Objective- The student will be able to illustrate signs, symptoms, and prevention methods of eating disorders by constructing posters by the conclusion of this lesson.
II.PENNSYLVANIA STATE STANDARDS
10.1.9 Concepts of Health
10.1.9.C- Analyze factors that impact nutritional choices of adolescents.

III. NATIONAL HEALTH EDUCATION STANDARDS
Standard 1-Students will comprehend concepts related to health promotion and disease prevention to enhance health.

Standard 3-Students will demonstrate the ability to access valid information and products and services to enhance health.
Standard 5-Students will demonstrate the ability to use decision-making skills to enhance health.
Standard 7-Students will demonstrate the ability to practice health-enhancing behaviors and avoid or reduce health risks.
