Georgia Performance Standards:

  • SB2.     Students will analyze how biological traits are passed on to successive generations.

  • SB2b.   Explain the role of DNA in storing and transmitting cellular information.

  • ELA9RC4. The student establishes a context for information acquired by reading across subject areas.

  • ELA9W3. The student uses research and technology to support writing.

This was designed as part of a DNA unit in which many of the lessons have been differentiated for 3 different leveled groups.  Group A is the below average group, Group B is the average group, and Group C is the above average group.  Students were assigned to groups based on Pretest results.
