Skin Cancer Prevention and Detection

The webquest was designed for students to learn about the concepts associated with skin cancer through the use of short facts, descriptions and pictures.  The webquest allows students to go out and find the key principles involved with skin cancer on their own.  I did not put a lot emphasis on creativity.  There is nothing in my rubric associated with creativity.  I feel that the concepts with and relating to skin cancer were more important than how well they were able to display the concepts in their pamphlets.

I would suggest introducing and explaining the concepts associated with skin cancer in the class room setting, but use the webquest to really drive home the concepts.
