Gold Rush Scavenger Hunt

This Webquest will help students learn vocabulary words through questions and hunting for the meaning of words. Reading the letter with context clues will give more options to decipher meaning. Students will look for pictures via internet to go with a description of the vocabulary word. Students will use a program such as Google Slides to make a presentation of the words found along with description and picture. This webquest will take an hour to complete. Students do need to have prior knowledge of some vocabulary words if possible. The lesson can be completed without any prior knowledge but extra time needs to be given.
Students will need prior knowledge of presentation program such as Prezi, Google Slides, Power Point and etc.
Walking around checking computer screens to ensure students stay on task is great for those classes who get off topic easily.
