Standards

I expect that after my lessons, students will be able to sufficiently recognize the importance of Geography in our daily lives and to embrace the different aspects or features that Geography speaks about that can edify students more about their environment. In addition, I expect students to be aware of the theory of plate tectonics, the drifting of the continents, the types of plate boundaries and the phenomenon/ features associated with each plate boundary.

Credits

I must therefore recognize Mrs. Jack and Ms. Morrison of Shortwood Teachers' College in St. Andrew, Jamaica for their guidance in creating the webquest.
Credit must be given to the following:
1. Youtube for their videos to enhance the lesson.
2. Google Images for maps showing the plate boundaries in the Caribbean.
3. National Geographic Website for information on Plate Tectonics and Continental Drift.
4. The website: About.com for information on the Phenomenon or features formed by Plate Tectonics.

Other

Teachers are expected to integrate technology in education in order to adequately garb students' attention and promote effective learning.
