Note for Teachers:

The web quest is designed to provide an interactive hands-on approach to learning about the types of governments of the world. The worksheets and chart can be printed out in advance (located below) or you can have the students use a separate piece of paper to put the answers to questions and other information. The students can use a social studies journal for this information as well. It is suggested that you do a brief overview of the web quest with the students to make sure they understand how it works and where the resources can be found. Once the students have completed their group projects they can be displayed in the classroom or other location. The quiz can be used to assess student understanding of the material in this web quest.

There are additional activities below that can also be used with this web quest. There is also a hangman game for students to play when they have extra time after they have finished the daily tasks.
