Surgical Instrument Cards

You will use the tools and resources contained in this WebQuest, as well as others you may find,  to construct your own surgical instrument flash cards to assist you in learning and memorizing various common surgical instruments, their uses, and their classification.  At the completion of this project, you will have a valuable tool to help you begin working with instrumentation in the lab, in your clinical rotations, and in your practice as a Certified Surgical Technologist.

The document linked below contains a list of 100 surgical instruments commonly used in operative intervention.  Your cards will contain the name, alternative names, classification, usage, and a picture of each of these instruments.
